Polycarbonate (PC) is a strong, high-performance thermoplastic often found in the automotive, aerospace, and medical fields. Engineered for durability and dimensional accuracy, it's great for producing rugged parts that stand up to demanding tests. Available in 92 ci and 184 ci spools, this material works with Fortus 360mc and 400mc Classic printers.

PC outperforms ABS and many other thermoplastics in mechanical strength. Parts printed in PC on a Fortus 3D Production System are 5% to 60% stronger than those made on earlier FDM machines. Paired with a Fortus system, it is a powerful choice for everything from concept models and functional prototypes to production tools and finished parts.
