Product Description
Print biocompatible polyamide parts with high-strength, high-impact Nylon 11 Powder. This robust and ductile material is an excellent choice for a wide range of high-performance prototypes and end-use parts. Nylon 11 has a smooth surface finish, and is tough and incredibly flexible compared to other nylons—able to bend without breaking. This material is perfect for parts that need to endure mechanical stress and wear, from clips and snaps to medical orthotics and prosthetics.
Powder Color: Dark Gray
Refresh Rate: Print with up to 70% recycled powder to get the most out of your material.
For Best Results: Print with the Fuse 1+ using inert atmospheric control.
Please Note: Parts printed with Nylon 11 require some post-processing, including cleaning off excess powder. Heat treatment is necessary if further strengthening is desired.
Compatibility
Atmosphere: Inert Nitrogen or Air*
Biocompatibility: Certified Biocompatible
Compatible 3D Printers:
- Formlabs Fuse 1
- Formlabs Fuse 1+ **
* Printing in air is possible but will compromise material properties, resulting in a faster rate of powder degradation.
** Formlabs strongly recommends printing Nylon 11 Powder on a Fuse 1+ printer with an inert atmosphere.
