The WAZER Pro brings industrial waterjet cutting capabilities into one user-friendly, compact, self-contained CNC system designed specifically for machine shops, fabrication facilities, manufacturers, makerspaces, and educational institutions. It focuses on faster cutting, thicker materials, and reduced maintenance than the WAZER Desktop. The WAZER Pro cuts 2-4 times faster, handles material up to twice as thick, and provides 3-6 times more continuous cutting, all while maintaining a smaller footprint than traditional industrial waterjet systems. All you need is a 4 ft × 4 ft operating area, a high-draw electrical outlet (220V/20A), a water source, and a floor drain or sink.

Cutting Performance

2.1 kW Hydraulic Power
The WAZER Pro uses a compact, high-pressure pump system that generates more than 2x the hydraulic power of the WAZER Desktop. While it has a much smaller footprint than industrial waterjets, it delivers true abrasive waterjet cutting capability with a small footprint.

Underwater Cutting
Unlike the WAZER Desktop, the WAZER Pro is capable of underwater cutting. This feature simplifies operation by improving cut quality, reducing noise, minimizing splash and overspray, suppressing dust and airborne particles, reducing shifting for lightweight materials, preventing edge chipping on brittle materials, and keeping your workpiece clean and cool.

90-Minute Continuous Cutting
The WAZER Pro is designed to cut continuously for up to one-and-a-half hours before requiring a cooldown period. This makes it practical for longer projects and production runs while maintaining reliable performance.

12" × 18" Cutting Area
This machine can cut parts from material sheets up to 12 inches by 18 inches. This size is perfect for making prototypes, custom components, product development, educational projects, and artwork.

0.044" Kerf Width
Kerf refers to the width of material removed during cutting. The WAZER Pro's narrow 0.044-inch kerf allows for intricate geometries, detailed designs, and efficient material usage while maintaining highly-accurate part dimensions.

One of the greatest advantages of abrasive waterjet technology is its versatility, allowing a single machine and cutting process to accurately cut a wide range of materials.

Aluminum
Cuts aluminum up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick, making it ideal for heavy-duty brackets, fixtures, enclosures, signs, and prototype components. The WAZER Pro cuts aluminum 2-3x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Mild & Stainless Steel
Cuts steel materials up to 0.375 inches thick (9.5 mm). Ideal for fabrication projects, machine components, sheet metal parts, and engineering prototypes. The WAZER Pro cuts steel 2-3x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Glass
Cuts glass up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick without introducing heat that could cause cracking or distortion. The WAZER Pro cuts glass 4x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Plastics
Handles many common plastics from thin sheet stock up to approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick, depending on the material. The WAZER Pro cuts plastics 3-5x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Composites
Cuts carbon fiber, fiberglass, and similar composite materials up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick while minimizing heat damage and fraying. The WAZER Pro cuts composites 3-5x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Tile & Stone
Cuts ceramic tile and similar materials up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick, making it useful for custom decorative work and architectural applications. The WAZER Pro cuts tile and stone 4x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Rubber & Foam
Can process soft materials up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. The WAZER Pro cuts rubber and foam 2-3x faster than the WAZER Desktop.

Abrasive System

80-Mesh Almandine Garnet
The WAZER uses 80-Mesh Garnet Abrasive, the industry standard for waterjet cutting. It is valued for its balance of cutting speed, edge quality, and material versatility. Mixed into the high-pressure water stream, garnet provides the cutting power needed to machine hard materials with precision.

Abrasive Hopper
The WAZER Pro's hopper holds 42 lb (19.1 kg) of dry garnet abrasive. It is 40% larger than the WAZER Desktop's hopper.

Abrasive Consumption
Operating costs should be considered when estimating project expenses. The WAZER Pro uses approximately 0.33 pounds (0.15 kg) of garnet per minute during cutting.

Abrasive Collection
The WAZER Pro's cutting tank captures all of the used abrasive during operation, compared to the WAZER Desktop, which captures a portion.
