Formlabs Alpha Black Resin produces highly-detailed parts with engineering-grade mechanical properties. This rich, matte black material looks similar to injection molding and is a great choice for making visual models, product prototypes, and components that need a finished appearance without much surface preparation. Formulated for Form Studio 1, this resin offers print speeds up to 45 mm/h while maintaining dimensional accuracy across individual parts and assemblies.

Alpha Black Resin is a versatile, easy-to-use material known for its stiffness, strength, and ability to print intricate features. With 43 MPa ultimate tensile strength and 34% elongation at break, Alpha Black combines the surface quality of a general-purpose 3D modeling resin with the toughness needed for functional prototyping. Its high-accuracy capabilities make it perfect for building presentation-ready pieces with fine details.

This durable resin features a fast print speed, is available in a 1-liter volume, and is compatible with Formlabs Form Studio 1 SLA printers.
